Social Studies

Ms. Bobbi Kezirian

AP Government, Ethnic Studies, US History

Ms. Kezirian is from Fresno, California.  Before coming to Wallenberg, she taught 8th grade social studies for two years.  She recently earned her Master’s in Technology, Innovation, and Education from Harvard.  She has a background in American Politics and International Relations, but enjoys all things history and tech.


In her free time, she loves traveling, participating in outdoor activities, going to sporting events (Go Niners and Giants), watching television, and reading.

Mr. Kenneth Free

US History, AP US History, World History


Mr. Free was born in San Carlos, California. He attended UC Berkeley, where he studied history. 


In his free time, Mr. Free enjoys hiking in the mountains, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Ms. Judith Mahnke

Modern World Civilization, US History, Psychology


Ms. Mahnke was born in Columbia, South Carolina and grew up in New Orleans. She attended the College of San Mateo and UC Santa Cruz, where she studied Art History.  This is her 27th year of teaching at Raoul Wallenberg High School.


In her free time, Ms. Mahnke likes to scour thrift store, go to museums, concerns, and events in the City.

Mr. Julian Geaga 



Mr. Geaga grew up in Berkeley.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian American studies at San Francisco State University and has a Social Science Single Subject Teaching Credential.  He teaches Health Class.  Mr. Geaga joined the Wallenberg faculty in the Fall 2015.  


In his free time Mr. Geaga enjoys fixing things around the house and researching online

Mr. David Mathis

Modern World, Economics, American Democracy


Mr. Mathis was born in Perry County, Illinois, but moved to Southern California as a child.  He attended California State University  Fullerton and Chapman University (at Orange, California), where he earned a BA in History, A Single Subject Credential, and a Masters in Education.  Mr. Mathis has taught in SFUSD for the past 16 years, the last 10 at Raoul Wallenberg High School. 


In his free time, he likes to read, draw, and work on his house.
