Ms. Patricia Cortés-Bodero 

Spanish 1, AP Spanish, Native Speakers of Spanish

Ms. Cortes-Bodero was born, grew up and was mostly educated in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the Escuela Normal Superior de Jalisco and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the UNIVA  and a Masters in Spanish from Long Beach State. She started teaching at Wallenberg in 1998.

In her free time, Ms. Cortes-Bodero enjoys hiking, playing tennis and practicing yoga, reading, skiing and traveling.

 


Ms. Mary Wen

Subjects: Chinese 1, Chinese 2, Chinese 3 and Native Speakers of Chinese

 

Ms. Wen grew up in Canton, China. She earned her BA in Chinese Language and Literature (2010), MA (2012) and her teaching credential at San Francisco State University. She has taught at Diablo Valley College, City College of San Francisco, and American Indian Public Charter High School.

 

Ms. Wen values diligence and willingness to try new things. She enjoys learning about linguistics, walking exercise, enjoying good food, hanging out with friends, spending quality time with my family.

 

She has been teaching at Raoul Wallenberg High School since 2013. 

 

 


 

Ms. Del Olmo

Subjects: Spanish

 

Ms. Del Olmo grew up in Palo Alto and Oregon House, a small town in northern California. She has a passion for languages and teaching. She received her B. A. in German Studies with honors from University of California Santa Cruz. She studied Spanish Studies at the University of Barcelona and lived a total of five years in Spain. Ms. Del Olmo pursued her Master’s in English with a Concentration in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from San Francisco State University. She has taught in Spain, at Skyline College, San Francisco State University and Academy of Art University.

 

In her free time, Ms. Del Olmo enjoys speaking Spanish, reading, dancing, practicing yoga and spending time with her friends and family.
